A couple of weeks ago spicentice kindly sent me a few of their packets over to try (AD). When I saw Katsu Curry was one of them I was admittedly a bit nervous, I have made Katsu Curry once before and it was a disaster!! I ended up not flattening the chicken enough, burning the breadcrumbed chicken and it just didnโ€™t taste great.. thankfully this time it was a huge improvement!

The Katsu Curry sauce this kit makes was soooo delicious, it genuinely tastes like the wagamama sauce! Along with the spice packet you get easy step by step instructions on how to make each recipe!

I served my Katsu Curry with sticky rice and crispy kale! To make my crispy kale I shredded up a load of kale onto a baking try, sprayed them well with some frylighthq 1 cal spray, added 1 tbsp Chinese 5 spice, 1 tbsp sugar and 0.5 tbsp salt, mixed thoroughly and then cooked for around 5 minutes in the oven!

I am really pleased with how this recipe turned out!! I have my eye on the spicentice Chinese salt and pepper fries next ๐Ÿ‘€
